MM Science Journal publishes research reports, articles concerning development works, technical works, research activities, experiments, designs, and experiences. The objectives are to publicize and promote the research and innovative works in the fields associated with engineering, management, applied sciences, and technologies.
The authors should be limited to those who make a substantial contribution to the submitted work. Otherwise, the name(s) of the person(s) who provide(s) little or partial contribution should be added in the Acknowledgement section.
MM Science Journal is indexed in database WEB OF SCIENCE, SCOPUS and part of EBSCO database.
MM Science Journal is a member of the CrossRef organization since May 2015. With the first following issue (June 2015) we inserted the DOI number to all published articles as well as to the PDF file. We ask all authors to note that they should assign available DOIs to all cited references. For easier searching of existing DOI numbers, you can use http://www.crossref.org/SimpleTextQuery/.
The MM Science Journal has its own International Standard Serial Numbers ISSN 1803-1269 (Print) and ISSN 1805-0476 (On-line) and is published five times a year as a part of March, June or July, October November and December issues of the MM Prumyslove spektrum Czech Republic (ISSN 1212-2572, MKCR E 76-45). The MM Science Journal has been also published on-line in English since 2008 as a fully peer-reviewed journal.
Till 2019, there were four regular issues and one special issue in case of need. Due to the increasing number of received papers successfully reviewed for publication, the Board members decided to announce five regular editions per year, starting from 2020.
The author (team of authors) undertakes to pay a fee 12 000 CZK (470 EURO) to the publisher for every received paper to be published on the MM Science Journal web page and promoted via QR code in the printed version of the MM Science Journal. The fee shall cover the costs of reviews, graphic processing, and management of web pages.
In case a paper fails to pass the review process, the author is charged 5 000 CZK (210 EUR). This amount covers the reviews and redaction expenses. The prices above do not include VAT.
Visitors and authors can view and download published articles for free. This open access allows your published articles to be viewed by the widest audience possible and encourages more citations of your work.
After acceptance of the paper to the publication process, the reviewers are chosen and contacted to conduct the review (which usually takes 4-10 weeks). After that, the author is requested to adopt the reviewers´ suggestions and recommendations in his/her paper (usually within 1 week). The article will then be published in the next available issue. However, the MM Science Journal cannot guarantee the exact publication time as the process may take longer due to peer-review approval and editing of the submitted articles.
The MM Science Journal offers a media partnership for trade conferences organized by technical universities, research centers, and institutes. Media support may include the publication of best conference papers as a special issue of the MM Science Journal.
