DETERMINATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PRESSABILITY

Abstract

This article deals with the results of technological tests of pressability (Erichsen's - IE index and capping - limit drawing ratio (LDR)). It also presents on which material parameter (ductility, strain hardening exponent, coefficient of normal anisotropy...) should be given more emphasis when choosing a steel sheet, if stretching stress (uniaxial tension, biaxial tension) dominates during the production of stampings, or if dominates the “pull-pressure” technique (pulling out from under the flange).
