This paper is focused on using FEM for design solid twist drill geometry. For this reason the series of numerical simulation have been conducted. The main observed parameters were chip shape and cutting forces. The results from numerical simulations were compared with experimental measurement.
The article is focused on decomposition of cutting forces on cutting elements. The cutting forces are described via geometrical parameters of the twist drill. In the course of experiments magnitude of the feed force and the torque were measured. The shape of the chip was the next evaluated parameter.
The paper presents the base of knowledge from the field of architecture and development of reconfigurable machine system of producing and operating technique, including their formation to specific machine system in the accordance with strategy of development. The core of paper makes new approaches solutions, which results in the technical new conceptions of automatic structures, which are able to w (…)
Initial enthusiasm for the parallel kinematics in the eighties of the last century slumped significantly during the last twenty years. There were found some disadvantages of standard parallel kinematic structures. The experts around the world began to seek new solutions of outlined problems. They defined several possible ideas which could eliminate the drawbacks and improve the properties and advan (…)
